October Cottage: Facilities

Val's Kitchen

The guest suite does not have a Kitchen sink, so dirty crocks may be left in Val's kitchen opposite the entrance to the guest suite. Val will wash them in the dishwasher and return them to the guest suite dining room. The facilities in the guest suite dining room include :-

Fridge
Microwave Oven
Toasted Sandwich Maker
Toaster

Shower Room

The Shower Room contains a 'Walk in' power shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin. The shower room is provided with dispensers containing soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and a plentiful supply of toilet rolls.

For less able guests there is a shower stool and toilet frame. The toilet frame can also be used for the bidet. Enlargement and refurbishment of the shower room was completed in February 2005.

Garden

The L shaped Cottage encloses a walled courtyard garden containing a summer house and garden furniture for al frescoe dining.

This courtyard garden is south facing and becomes a regular sun trap for those lazy summer days and evenings.

The courtyard garden is exclusively for guests use and is entered from the conservatory.

The Local

The village pub just 1 minutes walk away serves both an excellent selection of food together with some of Englands better Real Ales.
